“Five years ago I wouldn’t be caught dead reading this book— let alone writing it. It’s a bit comical because my Grandfather who was nicknamed ‘Grumpy’ prayed I would be a missionary. Little did he know it would be through writing,” says Ashley Alice White, the author of the new 50-day devotional, The Unfinished Puzzle, now available in both ebook and paperback format on Amazon.com.
Ashley is only 22 years old, but as you read her book, it is obvious that she is wise far beyond her years.
“I know the pain life can bring, but I also know joy that the Lord can bring too, which is why I wrote this book as well as to give Him all the glory as He is the one who got me to this point,” says the young author.
Ashley has had her share of life’s pain, especially recently when she was diagnosed with auto immune disease.
“At the moment I’m battling an auto immune disease, which I almost let crush my spirit. It almost drowned the joy and hope I have today that I intend to encourage you all with. I have a heart for missions and just went on my first one this past November with my father to Haiti. That was most likely my favorite trip thus far because of the selfless love and compassion an entire village showed and even taught me during it.”
Ashley attends Regent University for a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management and attended the University of Oxford in England for a summer semester where she studied literature.
