She also received the APA Diversity Leadership Fellowship Award in 2010 and the Byron Wilkenfeld Psychiatric Resident Scholarship Award from the Group Psychotherapy Foundation in 2012. After graduating from her residency program, she worked with underserved populations in northern West Virginia and received the 2016 APA award "For the Advancement of Minority Mental Health."
A Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Rincon is also a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, the Texas Medical Association, the American Association of Community Psychiatrists, and the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
Furthermore, she is board-certified in both general psychiatry and forensic psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
