A leader in the sports medicine and fitness field has relocated to Houston from Denver, CO. Dr. Le Cara, a former Army Combat Medic, has worked as a strength and conditioning coach, athletic trainer, and chiropractor for over 20 years.

A leader in the sports medicine and fitness field has relocated to Houston from Denver, CO. Dr. Le Cara, a former Army Combat Medic, has worked as a strength and conditioning coach, athletic trainer, and chiropractor for over 20 years. He holds a PhD in Athletic Training from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUOHP). His original research on the structure and function of the lumbar multifidus muscle and how it relates to lower back pain was published in 2014. He has authored or co-authored numerous peer reviewed articles and dozens of non-peer reviewed articles. Ed holds an MBA in Transglobal Education from St. Mary’s College of California.
Ed’s clinical experience is expansive. He successfully owned and operated SportsPlus: Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation in Pleasanton, CA from 2000 until 2014. He held hospital privileges at the Veteran’s Administration in Martinez, CA where he worked in the multidisciplinary Center for Integrated Brain Health and Wellness until 2014. He was on the medical advisory board at 24 Hour Fitness corporate offices from 2011-2013. In 2012, 24 Hour Fitness built a clinic for him to treat executives, employees and their families. In 2014 he relocated to Dallas, TX to open KinetikChain. KinetikChain is a sports medicine and athlete recovery center with a commercial athletic training room. After two years in Dallas he took the KinetikChain model and opened three clinics in Denver, built them up, then sold them. He has now relocated to Houston to help active individuals overcome pain and return to activities they love.

He is currently consulting with patients at Quality life Fitness in Spring Branch. His focuses his treatment on walking and running gait disorders due to strength and balance problems.
