The Flat Belly Lifestyle program believes that one’s blood type determines what one should or should not eat. Eating the wrong foods can result in inflammation, excess mucus, and weight gain. Eating the right foods for one’s blood type helps to eliminate the aforementioned challenges as well as minimize cravings and burn fat.

There are 4 steps that one is encouraged to take in the program, namely taking a pledge to commit to the vegan plant-based lifestyle, taking a blood test to identify one’s blood type, selecting a phase and placing the relevant product order followed by joining the Flat Belly community.

The Flat Belly Lifestyle challenge consists of three phases with phases 1 and 2 lasting 9 weeks each and phases 3 lasting for 21 days for a total of 21 weeks altogether.

Their most flexible stage, phase 1, contributes to improved muscle building, fat, and weight loss and allows foods such as pasture-raised poultry and fish. Phase 2 eliminates animal food and incorporates a fully plant-based option that allows cooked food. The cleansing phase 3 results in dramatic weight loss and helps the body to renew and repair itself, as well as contributing to healing age reversal.

Additional support in the form of grocery lists, recipes, and meal plans is also provided.

There is also an optional 90-day regimen after completing phase 3 to help sustain the healing that is occurring in the body. Participants are taught how to eat for their blood type and properly combine their food. Although a vegan plant-based diet is preferred, the plan does allow for pasture-raised poultry and fish to be consumed as well as additional cooked options.

A spokesperson for the company said, “Regardless of where you decide to start, the key is eating more plant-based and avoiding food and beverages contributing to inflammation, digestive issues, and weight gain for your blood type.”
